The first pictures of Felicia Day in her new role in Red, the new SYFY production, have been released via Karen O'Hara on the @SyfyMovies twitter account:



However, news soon came in from @alalcoolj that the picture had actually been altered from the original. He had obtained a copy from some fellow Canadians showing that Sean Becker has been FIRED - FOR REAL THIS TIME?!?:

Then came the shocking news that Felicia, possibly in revenge for his recent misuse of her iPhone, had her sights set on another of the Guildie faithful, Edgar, as @alalacoolj posted this:

Felicia, as usual,  showed no remorse and simply posted a picture of her new hood accessory via twitter:



I hope Syfy know what they are dealing with....!

The Guild Season on DVD, iTunes news and Photo Shoot

So, we're now on Episode 10 of Season 3 and.....*faints* Well I don't know about you, but this Season is taking so many twists and turns that I never know what's going to happen next! I've reviewed Ep 10 over on PinkRaygun.com and I'd love to hear your thoughts. Felicia has said this is her favourite episode and she has written about Ep 9 & 10 plus her recent actoring over on her blog.

Jimmy Fallon is Felicia'd - again!
Felicia Day is on the 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' show tonight on NBC. It's showing at 12:35 AM Pacific here in West Coast Canada, so check when it's available where you are. Felicia has met Jimmy before and (tried to) help him with World of Warcraft:



It's going to be exciting to see Felicia on TV again!

New Guild Competition - but hurry!

At 12 midnight (Pacific) the newest Guild competition ends. And what do you need to do for that? Simple. The new Guild DVD is now available in retail stores and everyone who posts a pic of them posing with a picture of the new DVD can enter the competition (see WatchtheGuild.com for full details of how to enter). And to make it fair that also includes those who have ordered the new one from Amazon, too.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Jenni Powell this week and I will edit this video asap. We talked about all sorts of things and I asked Jenni all the questions I was sent, too. Well, almost all. There was one I left out (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!).

Early next week I will be doing an audio interview with Michele Boyd, who plays Riley (Stupid Tall Hot Girl), currently Zaboo's girlfriend in The Guild. Last week there was a big debate about Zaboo and Riley's seemingly-abusive relationship on PinkRaygun and I hope we can find out more about that plus the other exciting work Michele has been doing. As before, I welcome YOUR questions for Michele - what would you like to know? Michele is on Twitter and has her own website, too. I can't wait to talk to her!

After watching Season 3, Ep 1 very early on Tuesday morning I was already thinking about my blog post for PinkRaygun.com. I will be reviewing each episode and the review for Episode 1 is up now. Felicia Day popped into The Guild Forums today and had a little chat with people. She's packing up for Dragon*Con but still took the time to say hello. She also answered some questions, including one about the stew Vork was preparing in Ep 1. She said that it smelled really bad! Tyler, the Production Designer had made it from Cheetos, hotdog bits and a mousetrap...and that Kim Evey (the Producer who also plays the homeless person) actually had to eat it. I suppose that's when you find out who your real friends are!

And she also told us what Wil Wheaton's character is called. Want to know? Really? You do? How much....? Oh well, in that case I won't tell you.

The Guild Season 3 launched on Xbox live plus the S3 trailer

Ah, the irony

I flipped the switch on the Xbox today eager to watch Episode 1, Season 3 of The Guild. After suffering from the crippling illness Guild Deficiency Syndrome (GDS) the wait was over and I was ready to step onto the Season 3 roller-coaster. First little wrinkle was having to wait up a system update, but, no problem, it was soon restarted and ready to go. I went to the Marketplace, found S3, Ep 1 and...arseburgers! Only Gold members can download it. Now, I used to have Gold but because our Xbox was registered in the UK (don't ask how that happened because I DO NOT want to relive that), the only way to renew has been to get Points shipped from England. Apparently you can pay online now but after the hassle we've had in the past I just never bothered. Until now.

What to do?

Now $60 might not sound that much but I can't justify that just so I can see S3, Ep1 a week early. Especially when I'll be buying the DVD and have just bought "Do You Want To Date My Avatar" video and MP3.

Kids want to be fed every day and they notice if you substitute sawdust for oatmeal and cardboard for crackers. So I'll wait until next Tuesday 1st September when I can watch it on MSN video. And brood. And fidget with my GDS for a few days longer. Thank goodness that....

The Season 3 trailer was released today!

Yay!

Now it's a trailer that contains scenes from S3, so if you don't want to see anything then don't watch it. Though how you would be able to resist is beyond me. I won't say more than Season 3 looks like it is going to be an absolute corker and (I can't resist this, so if it spoils you, I'm sorry) Wil Wheaton apparently DOES NOT WEAR UNDERWEAR!!! 'Nuff said.
